The 'Bearded Burbler' started calling football on 3AW in 1989 and is now firmly entrenched as the code's most popular radio commentator – and easily the most colourful. "Yyaablettt", "Koutoufidernedes" and "Yibbida Yibbida" are amongst the many contributions Rex has made to the Australian vernacular.

Rex is known around the world because of his hugely successful "Rex Hunt's Fishing World" –  it has over 15 Million viewers in the UK alone! For over seven years Rex has hosted Channel Seven's "Sportsworld Footy Panel" in addition to other shows such as "Rex Hunt's Great Outdoors" and "I'm Rex Hunt and You're Not".
