Bec Goddard OAM is a passionate advocate for diversity and equality in Australian sport and holds the rare title of holding coaching success in two elite women's sports- the AFLW and WNBL.

She is the inaugural AFLW Premiership coach of the Adelaide Crows coaching players split across South Australia and the Northern Territory for the first two seasons of the AFLW while working full-time for the Australian Federal Police (AFP).

Bec spent 20 years as a member of the AFP during this time she was deployed around the world including to Thailand following the 2004 tsunami, Bali following the 2005 bombing and to Christchurch following the 2019 Mosque shootings.

Bec describes herself as a ‘professional optimist’ and believes winning big comes from focusing on the ‘1 percenters’.
