Steve Sammartino rebounds!

Esteemed futurist and entrepreneur Steve Sammartino has had an eclectic career: He built the world’s first air-powered Lego car in 2013 a viral sensation with over 10 million views on Youtube; has founded tech start-ups and worked with multiple fortune 500 companies; written 2 best-selling books on the technology revolution and hosted a Ted Talk, “Outgrow your job: what pizza taught me” and last year, during Melbourne’s extensive stage 4 lockdown, created, wrote and hosted The Rebound on Channel Nine.

Co-hosted with Tommy Mccubbin, The Rebound Season 1 brought a six-part series exploring how Australians can rebuild from the pandemic and economic crisis in the most successful and sustainable way. The show also discusses the future prospects of the economy, and the influential role technology will play in it. Steve brings his vast and varied career experience to the series to consider the issues presented by the pandemic, and the entrepreneurial opportunities and emerging career paths that can arise from moments like these.

The Rebound is geared to both employees and employers, with episodes on fast-track hacks to success, business models for the future, the importance of branding to stand out, and Steve and Tommy’s predictions for the business world in 2021 and beyond. Season 2 is set to debut this Saturday, 3 July at 12:30pm on Channel 9.
